We sought to develop the idea of volume, juxtaposition and modulation, exploring the Romanesque thought of creating form through a contemporary language. The program included the creation of two levels with distinct functions: The ground floor for the social spaces, extending itself beyond the interior space; the second floor that wants to be more private, for the rooms and its inherent privacy. Each of these areas was worked individually in its perfect proportion and orientation. The final shape results of the juxtaposition of several volumes resulting from each of these spaces. The repetition of the “window” element sought to unify and bring coherence to the white volume, carved and landed in the garden.
